Away from the busy roads, the Diamond Head community garden is a magic and peaceful place. The ideal moments to discover this scented garden is in the early morning or just before sunset.
The perfumes of lavender, basil, gerania and recently watered plumeria trees will guide you through this small community garden where everyone cultivates his or her piece of land with aloha.
Located between Leahi Avenue and Paki Avenue, it is a perfect place to take a break. Relax on one of the benches and admire the magnificent crater of Diamond Head. Walk between banana and papaya trees and discover the beauty and the diversity of hibiscus and other typical plants of the hawaiian islands.
You will meet passionate gardeners, a few cats and with a little bit of luck you might see a funny white rabbit!
The community garden never closes its gates but «harvesting» is prohibited.
